Install CubeCart using Softaculous in cPanel

CubeCart is a popular shopping cart software for small eCommerce stores. It is an open-source project. It means you can modify it according to your requirements and developers can create plugins and skins to improve the functionality of the store and customize it. With the help of CubeCart, you can create an eCommerce store with minimal technical knowledge.

The installation part is always hard when you are getting started. However, with InterServer web hosting, you will get access to Softaculous. Softaculous is an auto-installer script that allows you to install various content management systems with ease. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to install CubeCart using Softaculous in cPanel.

Install CubeCart using Softaculous

Log in to your cPanel account and click on the Softaculous Apps Installer. It will look like the icon highlighted in the following screenshot.

On the main page of Softaculous, you will see a list of popular scripts. Click on the CubeCart card to navigate to the CubeCart page. If you are unable to find it in the popular scripts, you can search using the search box given in the sidebar.

On the CubeCart page, you will see a lot of information. Click on the Install button to navigate to the final installation page.

On this page, you will see a form containing multiple sections. In the first section, select protocol, domain, and directory for your CubeCart site. If you want to install it on the domain name, keep the In Directory field empty.

In the second section, set the Store name and Store address.

Scroll down a bit and enter the admin login information. Finally, click on the Install button given at the bottom of the page.
