Prevent Easyapache .htaccess File Modification
In this tutorial, we are going to discuss how to prevent .htaccess file modification while running easyapache. .htaccess is a configuration file consists of some rules or instructions that tell the server how to behave in certain situations. During the recompilation process of Apache with Easyapache, you may see some entries in your .htaccess file like:
‘AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php .html .htm’
We can prevent any .htaccess unwanted entries while recompiling process of Apache/php with Easyapache using the following steps:
1) Login to WHM.
2) Navigate to “Server Configuration”.
3) Go to “Tweak settings”.
4) Select the option “System”.
5) Set “Depth to recurse for .htaccess checks” to 0.
6) Click the button ‘Save’.
