Secure WordPress Template for an InterServer VPS (PHPMMDROP)

Secure WordPress Template for an InterServer VPS (PHPMMDROP)

PHPmmdrop is interserver’s exclusive shared hosting security system offered with our cPanel hosting. Due to requests our techs have placed many of the same features on a VPS template called centos-7-x86_64-nginxwordpress

Select the template centos-7-x86_64-nginxwordpress when ordering a VPS in https://my.interserver.net or reinstalling a VPS.

Note: Currently this is only available on container systems, openvz legacy. We will update here when it is available on KVM or Openvz7.

Features Include:

  • Nginx webserver with built in caching
  • PHPmmdrop for wordpress to secure a standard wordpress install.
  • WPcli pre-installed with daily checks for updates of core, plugins and default themes.
  • Daily mysql backups

After the installation of a vps, the root password chosen for the vps install is can be used to log into the ip address as user admin at http://your-ipaddress/wp-login.php
